We spent the day riding up to Santa Fe, NM on the Rail Runner. We left the RV about 9 am and drove to downtown Albuquerque and got on the Rail Runner. The train took us to Santa Fe. We ate Tomasita's Restaurant right there at the depot. We walked up to the city Plaza and did some shopping. We then boarded the Rail Runner at 4:10 pm and got back to Albuquerque about 5:35 pm. Had a good day.

Last night we spent the evening with our very good friends, Bruce and Chris. They took us out to a great restaurant Ragin Shrimp. For a shrimp lover like me I was in heaven. After supper we went back to their house and just chilled out and socialized. What a great evening. Thank you Bruce and Chris.

We just got back from a concert by Papa Doo Run Run. They played a lot of Beach Boy songs. For me it was to loud. Well tomorrow we will be moving out of here.

It's 9pm and we just got back to our rig after a fantastic show by the Osmonds Brothers. It was the best show of the Rally so far.
Last night we where entertained by Rita Coolidge. After the show right alongside of where our RV was parked there was a Balloon Glow.  There was seven hot air balloons tethered to the ground and the operators kept lighting a flame that made the balloons glow. It was beautiful. After this Rally is over I will post somemore pictures.

We started this adventure in 2002 and one of the most important  things to do was to avoid snow. Well it snowed this morning and it is snowing and raining at 10 pm tonight. We just got back to our rig from the entertainment tonight which was Neil Sedaka.

We drove all of 17 miles today. We are parked in the Balloon Fiesta Park. Sunday we drove here just to see what it was like. This was a huge open field. Today it is full of RV's, what a site. We are here for the Good Sam National Rally. We will be here until Tuesday morning.

One of the great things about this RV lifestyle is the ability to meet friends and find new things to do. Yesterday morning we went to a great German Deli called Alpine Sausage Factory and Deli. In the evening we went to Bruce and Cris's house and after visiting awhile we went to Route 66 Diner with them.

Today is another story, it was cold and rainy when we got up and stayed that way until about 2:30.

Hope everyone has a Happy Easter.

Yesterday was a lazy day. We stayed at the site rearranging cupboards and such. The wind was blowing pretty hard. Today we are going to do some shopping on base. Hopefully we will get to spend some time with our friends Bruce and Cris this weekend.

Well we are on the move again, We are at Kirkland AFB,in Albuquerque, NM, until the 16th. Then we will go to the Balloon Fiesta Park for the Good Sam Rally. We started the day going to a tire shop to get the wheel bearings repacked. The shop took all four wheels off and found that the bearings where fine. The best part they didn't charge me anything. We were worried about the wind when we left but by the time we got on I-25 heading north the wind kicked up but it was a welcome tail wind.
